Community Involvement

I am so proud that for three generations we have been actively involved in our community.  It all started with my grandfather, Donald Lau. From the YMCA to the Boy Scouts to the Salvation Army to his church community. He taught our family, by example, that we are to serve others.

It continued with my father, David Lau. He served on boards of the Judson Center Presbyterian Villages, the Detroit Athletic Club and Alma College. He also served in positions of responsibility in the Rotary Club of Detroit and the Detroit Society of Financial Service Professionals.

Our commitment to the community continues under my leadership. We currently support Detroit Regional Dollars for Scholars, CRU and a number of worthwhile organizations and events that seek to better the lives of those in the community.
